ABOUT ALESBURY

Welcome to our neighborhood, Alesbury within Windsor Parke! You cannot select a better place to live in Jacksonville, logistically and otherwise. We are within minutes of the beaches, excellent medical  facilities, higher education, high-end-to-discount retail, and all lifestyle services you might need. Plus, our three Hodges Boulevard ingress/egress roads provide optional ways to beat the morning backup to access either J. Turner Butler Boulevard ( “JTB”) or Beach Boulevard.  We can even access grocery and other needed services in our own shopping center without leaving Windsor Parke. Or, enjoy quick access to play golf on Windsor Parke’s challenging course. Plus, no Community Development District taxes. No other Jacksonville planned community has these advantages!

Safety & Events

Neighborhood Watch

"Neighborhood  Watch is a program of neighbors watching out for other neighbors during  times when criminal activity would most likely occur, and reporting suspicious activity to police.

A police officer patrolling your  neighborhood may not recognize a stranger in your yard - but your  neighbors would. Neighbors know who you are and the type of car you  drive. They may be the first to notice a burglar at your window or door -  or a strange car in your driveway." (JSO)

Please report crime to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or dial 911.

SECURITY PATROLS

Our Master Association, WINDSOR PARKE, provides periodic security patrols for the entire Windsor Parke community.

The weekday patrols are rotating and vary from week to week. Two (2)  weekdays are covered each week. The total coverage per week is twenty  (20) hours.

Patrol hours change seasonally and at the direction of the Windsor Parke board.

ALL  emergencies or active vandalism incidents SHOULD BE REPORTED AS SOON AS  POSSIBLE TO THE JSO 911 DISPATCHER.  All other incidents should be  reported to the non-emergency number: 630-0500.

If  an emergency incident happens in our neighborhoods at an hour when the  patrols are on duty, a homeowner should call 911 and notify the  dispatcher of the incident. The dispatcher knows when our PAID patrol is on duty in the area and contacts him/her directly. If no officer is on duty in our neighborhood, the call is treated as any other emergency  incident call.
